Freckle Juice by Judy Blume
by Sandy
Freckle Juice is the story about a boy that name "Andrew," he wants to have freckles on his face same with his friend in the classroom. He thinks if he has freckles on his face, it's very cool. One day, his friends name "Sharon," she told him "I have the secret recipe of freckle juice but you need to pay me 50 cents." He permits her. Then he gets the secret recipe of freckle juice, he drinks a lot of freckle juice but doesn't have anything happen on his face. The next two days, he needs to go to school, he paints spots on his face by blue ink because he wants to have freckles on his face. When he arrives school, his friends laugh him especially Sharon. And his teacher talks with him then he washes his face.
I like this book because it's fun and when I read the story at the begin, it makes me want to know what will happens next so that I needed to read continue, it isn't boring. I think the story can remind everyone contended that we have, don't want the same other people.

  1. Freckle Juice sounds like a good story for everyone in our class to read. I like how you talk about the theme of the book: we are all different but we should be happy with who we are. What genre is this book? It sounds like realistic fiction. Can you add that to the label?
